Color FX

Features

COLOR FX represents the culmination of the absolute highest performance, color-fortifying ingredients, concentrated in a single formula. This exclusive formulation is enriched with freeze-dried copepods (planktonic crustaceans with high levels of carotenoids and fatty acids), astaxanthin, two types of 100% pure cultured spirulina and Antarctic krill. In all, COLOR FX contains seven separate applications of color enhancing ingredients needed to promote a spectacular level of color and luster of your cichlids. As in all Dainichi foods, there is calcium montmorillonite clay to simulate the natural ingestion of mineral particles and to bind and neutralize metabolic toxins. Raw, fully potent vitamins, digestive enzymes and garlic ensure that the fish are healthy and free of internal parasites. Furthermore, the scouring action of the clay enhances the rejuvenation of the digestive tract which when combined with only two sources of starch (flour as binder and wheat germ as a source of vitamin E and B) makes COLOR FX a superb choice of food for even the most delicate of herbivores.

Usage

Dainichi Fish Food
A VEGGIE FX reared Protomelas taeniolotus would not provide enough of a challenge for the aggressive red enhancement of the COLOR FX formula. The freeze-dried cyclops and the other pigments of VEGGIE FX have already imparted their red enhancing effects on this specimen, therefore...
To trully test the performance of this formula, we chose to test a wide variety of cichlids in various state of well being and age. Many of the chosen fish were picked because they were beat-up and tattered or old and past their prime. Furthermore, herbivorous, and carnivorous species were mixed together for this test. Below are some photos of the test subjects during the test day trial.
